April 30, 2007 Surgery

Before leaving the hospital, they put fashionable fiberglass coverings on my casts to protect them. My mom told me how strong and how amazing I was during and after surgery. My dada said I didn't need to take any pain medication the day after surgery. Now I just have a little difficult swallowing problem. Thank you for praying for me. Please keep praying for my recovery. God bless you all and love you.
I finally went back to my room. My feet were swollen, so I had ice packs on them.

I finally woke up from the anesthesia and saw my mama and dada. I was glad my nightmare was over.

In the recovery room, the nurse took such great care of me. Thank you so much again!

During several hours of surgery, the doctors cut my heel cords (achilles tendons) in both of my legs and corrected and pinned both my talus bones, which were turned the wrong way. Now I am wearing casts.

Here I am before surgery in my special puppy dog outfit at Shriner's Children's Hospital in Springfield, Mass.

My first Easter outfit... Pink princess.

I don't like the tummy time..mama...

Beautiful spring day..
